The Prototype of the World's Largest Swimming Pool was revealed on a Press Conference in Burj-Al-Arab on 14th November 2006 and earned the awe of the public. The magnificent project, designed by the artist Sergio Furnari, is going to be more than 1,600 feet (or more than 500m) and is going to be covered in the artist's hand-painted work.

Upon completion, this dream swimming pool would break both the Guinness record for the World's Largest Swimming Pool and the one for the World's Largest Painting (it would be visible by a satellite, in fact).

Currently, the designing of the technical part of the electric and water features is under process. The artist intends to paint further part of the pool during summer 2009 in Guatamala. The actual construction of the project, which is expected to become one of Dubai's landmarks and a tourist attraction of international importance, has not yet been scheduled due to insufficiency of financial resources.

"This is going to be a reality. It is just a matter of time." says the artist firmly. As of now, he is still open to potential partners and investors that would like to participate in this project.
