The internationally recognized & acclaimed Sicilian artist Sergio Furnari
has been working and living between Italy and the USA for the past 15 years.
Having established himself in the States and Europe, with his fascinating
sculptures and exquisite hand-painted ceramic tile works, made for a number
of celebrities, the Mediterranean artist is looking for new, more challenging
projects in Dubai, where he believes that few things are impossible.
Sergio will be holding a press conference in Dubai in November 2006 to arrange the

building, and the painting
on his side, of the largest pool on Earth. It is going to be the size of a
football field and is to be covered with the artist's hand-painted work --
a mixture of Arabic & Mediterranean motifs and colors. Connected to the sea,
and being a piece of art itself, the pool is predicted
to turn into a landmark
of the Dubaian already impressive landscape.
